Who We Are?
EHD Foundation is an independent, non-profit, non-political and non-government welfare organization. It is an NGO (Non-Government Organization) committed to improving the quality of life of the underprivileged. The Foundation is a Trust registered under the Trust Acts 1882 by the Joint Sub-Registrar, Islamabad, Pakistan since September 2002
Our mission is to establish an exemplary society through service to humanity. The specific objective of EHD Foundation is to provide basic facilities such as Education, Health and Development projects to the poor and deserving so that they may be able to make a positive contribution to society.
Our Story
In the heart of our nation, amidst the shadows of neglect, we witnessed a landscape of disparity. With just one doctor for every 1,500 people and a dismal student-to-teacher ratio of 1:102, hope seemed distant. But it was within the forgotten alleys of the slums, where basic necessities were mere dreams, that our resolve took root.
On September 6, 2002, fueled by empathy and determination, we founded the Education, Health, and Development Foundation. From Islamabad to the far reaches of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit, Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, our mission blossomed. We refused to let the darkness of deprivation extinguish the light of hope.
Today, amidst the 41 units scattered across the Capital Territory, where 95,000 souls yearn for a better tomorrow, our presence stands as a beacon of compassion. Each life touched, each smile ignited, fuels our unwavering commitment to a future where dignity and opportunity flourish for all.
